The International Conference on Oriental Rugs and Carpets (ICOC) sponsored a six night tour of important carpets, sights, lectures, and exhibitions in Vienna and Budapest from September 15 through September 21, 2014.
The Armenian Rugs Society took part in the ICOC events in Vienna and Budapest, which included special exhibitions and lectures, at major museums, including the remodeled carpets section at the MAK, the Natural History Museum, and others.
The Budapest leg of the tour also included visits and lectures at the Museum of Applied Art, as well as at Esztergom.
